Axion's curved film gate helps to keep warped films flat during scanning, but excessively warped films can still warp and curl. For those situations, this film gate clamp helps to hold the film flat against the gate. A replaceable low-friction film surface helps to ensure the film is handled gently, while providing even pressure across the gate. It installs in place of the gate retainer block, while maintaining easy access to the gate roller adjustment screws.
