Axion 16mm Film Gate

Precision-machined film gate for all 16mm formats. Gentle gate curvature helps to flatten warped films, and a highly-polished surface ensures the film passes through safely and smoothly. The easily-adjustable side rollers help to laterally stabilize the film, even if the film is shrunken or out of spec. 

If your Axion scanner is already set up to scan 8mm, this gate is all that's needed to start scanning 16mm.
